Second event on Saturday: We go to the Textile Center for a show of kimono fashions worn by some of the most beautiful young women. We shopped a bit and watched demonstrations of silk weaving. Wish I could get the photo of the weavers' finger nails filed in tiny ridges to hold the silk threads. Settled for closeups of live silk 'worm' (larvae) and the moth.
